Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Back-Up or Motion Alarms:
Back-up alarms and motion alarms are audio device accessories that generate enough sound so that the noise is heard overtop the noises produced from the forklift itself.
The sound needs to be readily discernible from other audible devices or sounds within the work environment. Sound should be readily discernible from other sound or audible devices within the work place. The audible device could end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; therefore, care should be taken.
Hearing protection makes it trickier to hear the audible device and to distinguish what distance and direction it is coming from. Audible devices could sometimes get disabled from operators and employees as they could find them annoying. Also, audible devices could also be objectionable to residents in the vicinity.
Additional Application and Operator Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: Operator enclosed cabs help to protect the operator from the elements. They use tempered glass so as to avoid injuries. Additionally, these cabs feature an emergency exit through removing the window. The levels of noise are lessened at the operator's ear because of additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: For each particular application, the operator can choose the performance requirement. What's more, it enables a supervisor to set the unit's utmost performance for an operator who is just learning. Being able to lessen and adjust the maximum performance of the unit enables a new operator to learn the machine's operating features in a controlled environment.
Impact Monitor: When the impact monitor is deactivated, a supervisor is needed to enable and override the unit. This encourages the operator to be certain to manage the machinery in a more controlled way.
Panoramic and Dual Rear View Mirrors: These particular mirrors help to assist the operator in observing their tail swing area, and operating space behind the vehicle.
