Our manufacturing line consists of electro-hydraulic motor grabs, mechanical motor grabs, hydraulic lifting machinery, a variety of other types of specialized lifting machinery and single rope radio control grabs.

Peiner has made and sold over 75,000 units for the global market. Peiner's unique grabs can deal with a wide array of materials and products like iron ores, cement, fertilizers, coke, refuse and scrap. Our many years of experience in the overall designing process and in making high quality products helps to allow our customers be given the proven technology their various applications require.

SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for more than 12 years in the United States market place. Different industries like for instance Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Scrap Handling, and many other material handling facilities including Bulk Transfer Facilities presently utilizing our buckets and grabs to accomplish their jobs.

The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around delivering grabs that handle the biggest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The regular handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is about 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This translates into moving greater quantities of materials faster. There is less wear and tear on the crane structure and its related parts. By combining manufacturing with high quality materials and innovative design, the weight ration which is required is attained.

Grab sizes would vary from 1 cubic yard or less to more than 50 cubic yards in order to meet the needs of the client. Furthermore, Peiner USA Inc. offers a complete service facility and spare parts facility for the models purchased in the United States, along with the addition of brand new buckets and grabs.
