Narrow aisle forklifts work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale spotlights the single reach NR and the double reach NDR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has different stance and control handle configurations and utilize best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations that meet a variety of operations as well as a choice of fore and aft stance or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides strong acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been manufactured for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo transported during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To greatly improve the overall throughput and production, Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific feature that maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: In order to really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician could adjust the steer effort so as to decrease operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also known as very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These machines are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height could be over 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are generally guided by wire or rail when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
