Hyundai LPG Forklift Trucks
The Hyundai LPG line of forklifts provide advanced fuel induction technology that saves greatly on fuel consumption and reduces harmful emissions. With reduced pollution and emission levels, forklifts that utilize LPG are much safer overall for your workers and for the natural environment.
The following are some features and benefits of the Hyundai LPG Forklift:
Some of the benefits and features of the LPG series comprise operator friendly gauges and water resistant monitor panel, full hydrostatic power steering that prevents kickback and overrun, quiet operation under heavy load conditions provided by extremely durable power shift transmission, wet disc brake system that lasts five times longer compared to typical braking systems and improves brake performance. Moreover, operator safety is increased and operator fatigue is lessened by a full floating head-guard mount.
Change an LPG Cylinder
There are various types of sources that can power forklifts. They can run from liquid propane or LP gas, gasoline, diesel or battery. LP is a clean burning fuel ideal for many applications. There are some facilities that have large liquid propane supplies on site. This allows forklifts to be refueled whenever they require. In other places, the facility will have spare LP cylinders which are able to be changed out when the machinery should be refueled.
So as to prevent potentially serious injury, specific safety measures must be taken when changing out an LP cylinder. Like for instance: be certain to wear the appropriate safety equipment such as goggles or safety glasses and heavy gloves. Turn off the forklift ignition prior to changing out the tank. Next, close the cylinder valve by turning it until it is closed securely. Use your hand to loosen the hose connection to the tank. Remember that it would turn in the opposite direction of a standard connection and never use a metal tool or any kind of wrench on these connections. They are meant to be tightened by hand only.
