Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck offering great height and versatility. The crane, or arm, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual using it to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the load to great heights. Standard forklifts can not move the load away from and towards the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
In cases requiring high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments referred to as forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck will often use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform that is designed to raise staff is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a strap or chain is utilized to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
