End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These equipment have superior performance characteristics that are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift models.
These forklift units are ideal for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space needed to operate these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck needs. These machinery are an ideal option for applications that require frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus used by a variety of businesses who maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in a way that is both efficient and safe.
All basic reach truck units would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The tines additionally have a hydraulic setup that allows the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only offers much more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
